The Lehigh Valley’s premier burlesque troupe, The Looking Glass Revue, presents its new production, “The Bad and The Beautiful.”

See the starlets perform classic burlesque with a “femme fatale” twist that will leave you breathless. The stunning ladies will shimmy and shake their way into your hearts and drive you to distraction.

With tongue-in-cheek vintage acts, the troupe has been tearing its way through the Lehigh Valley with standing ovations and packed houses!

Looking Glass Revue Presents Halloween-Themed Burlesque Show Oct. 23

The Lehigh Valley’s premier #burlesque troupe The Looking Glass Revue will present its Halloween-themed show, “Spook and Spell Peepshow” Friday, Oct. 23 at the Broadway Social in Bethlehem, Pa.

Keeping with its retro inspirations, the troupe will perform acts with a vintage and kitschy flair. The horror genre was beginning to find its cult following in the 1950s and the troupe is thrilled to the bone to present all new acts that will have you shaking in your seat with delight.

Join The Looking Glass Revue as we say farewell to Mika Romantic as she traverses to Milan, Italy to perform for three months in an all-star revue. We would like to bid her farewell in proper LGR style!

What better way to say……..”ARRIVEDERCI!!!”, then to throw the biggest #burlesque and #comedy show in the area!

This is not good-bye, it’s just a special send off until she returns in January 2015.

Open Show to Create Lighting for Fire Arts Festival

Open Show will provide the lighting at “Heartsfest,” a Burning Hearts Fire and Light Theater festival. It will feature workshops throughout the day on the art of fire performing and fire safety. There will be a fire performance with the Burning Hearts in the amphitheatre at sundown.

The festival will be held noon to 8 p.m. April 26 at Joseph S. Daddona Lake and Terrace Park, 21st and Union streets, Allentown, Pa.

How do you stay warm in the winter? Dance you’re ass off and raise money for the Allentown Freak Out Fringe Festival! Don’t miss some great fringe-worthy live entertainment, some amazing Philly DJs, and an LED light show by OPEN SHOW!!!

The fundraiser event will be held 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Cigar Factory Artist Studios, located at 707 N. 4th St., Allentown, Pa.

Allentown Film Crew to Host Holiday Program at Perfect Christmas Tree Farm

Friends of Open Show, the Allentown Film Crew, will present a fun event 3:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Perfect Christmas Tree Farm to complement Open Show’s spectacular LED light show. There will be live entertainment by the band Bootleg Express and DJ Double D, hayrides, and a showing of original AFC films.

There’s also going to be a “Laughter Yoga” program from 5:30 to 6 p.m. If you’d like to join, please contact Cynthia Curtis at (908) 387-1225 or pctree@verizon.net.
